(Going through old On the Spot episodes looking for the one where I wore my patent pending METAL GEAR? shirt also makes me happy...if not also a little bit sad.)
Edit: How could I have forgotten that the Metal GEAR? sweatshirt is referenced in this classic GS video blog. Thanks to smpb for reminding me!

Yet somehow I bet that it took you and Jeff Gerstmann only a matter of moments before you did your best David Hayter. Perhaps unwrapping the packaging or during installation?
You know what makes me sad? Not being on the bandwagon yet. I'm gonna go see if Best Buy still has one of them bundles.
In a sense, I share your happiness/sadness. When all of you were together at Gamespot, those were indeed golden days. For us viewers, and probably for you all as well.
Speaking of old "episodes" this video blog stays with me as the peak of those days. I just love it to death, makes me smile every time I see it.
And of course, that epic shirt is there and that timeless question is obviously uttered...
...METAL GEAR?!
:)
Wow, somehow I missed that video blog. Thanks for pointing us at it, those were good times.
Man, that video blogs brings make some memories. Those were the good old days. You know, with Jefferson, Alexis, Jose, Phiillip and Gregory. Good times...
Also, METAL GEAR?!?
Those were good times.
God, I miss the good old days, makes me sad seeing all you guys back together, and remembering the awesome coverage you guys give from E3 that year. Only one person was missing from that video, Rich (Richard) Gallup.
Why did you have to post that video... I think... I think I'm going to cry now :'(
Sigh, apparenlty you can feel nostalgia over something that didn't happen too long ago. I miss GameSpot. But WAR and Giant Bomb are the future, and it is bright.
Did you beat the game yet (MGS4), after seeing it how it all goes down I think it will have to be a must to put huge cutscenes with excellent storytelling... hmmm keep that in mind.
